Hey'all! I don't know if anyone still reads this thing but I thought why not post here. There is no harm in it.
I just recently came out as a bi-sexual/queer to my friends, I haven't even thought about tackling my immediate family.
If any of you are in Chicago I would love a friend who I can talk to about all this. I am just now starting to explore the LGBTQIA community in the city and could use some guidance ha. |

I am having the HARDEST time finding underwear I like. Lady underwear is always either too girly or crawls up your butt. Man underwear has that stupid pouch in the front (with the exception of boxers, of course, but I have enough boxers). I found the PERFECT pair of black hanes women's boxer briefs once upon a time, and they had a cool little logo patch on the front of the band... but my dog ate them and hanes doesn't appear to make them anymore. :*( My emotional pain is endless.
Where do you birls shop for undies? I'm seriously about to just try and make my own. But of COURSE, I can't find a pattern... or acceptable waistband material... |

Hi Birls,
I haven't been part of this community for many years, though I used to post pretty frequently back in the day...
Anyway, I wanted to reach out to all of you because I'm working on a really exciting project with the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition. Our ongoing project, I AM: Trans People Speak is expanding into a user generated website much like the It Gets Better project.
Anyway, so before we launch our project where folks can submit their own video's we are doing an open call for photographs!! Check out the project and then submit your photo!!

I’m looking to make a collection of poetry, stories, photos, portraits, drawings…centered on the theme of your “home” or lack there of; our relationship to where we live.
